He and his team led JetBlue’s digital transformation program with the revamp of jetblue.com and mobile products, resulting in a 2018 Webby Award, 2019 JD Power Award, and 5 Star mobile app. Over his 14-year career with JetBlue he served in various leadership roles across Marketing & Technology.
He was named as one of the top 10 thought leaders in E-Commerce by TrueLens, top marketing leaders by Brand Innovators, and 3-time ‘Jetty Award’ recipient presented by JetBlue’s CEO.
Michael also held senior marketing roles with 1-800-Flowers.com where he spent eight years leading various parts of the business with a focus on customer acquisition via digital marketing and partnerships. During the early years of the Internet, he began his career on the New Ventures team at Publishers Clearing House where he helped to implement a digital strategy for the business.
He earned his MBA from Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and bachelor’s degree from the School of Management at Binghamton University. He serves as Chairman, Board of Trustees for the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden NY, advisor for start-ups Bicycle and ecountabl, and is a former board observer for San Francisco based startup Gladly Inc.
